What is the best way to protect your investment in your antiques–without having to put up a velvet rope when certain company and/or children come for a visit? (Don’t use silicone dusting sprays, and put cushions on anything caned.) What are the biggest household dangers to watch for? (Dry air, humidity and direct sunlight, to name three) Should I attempt to repair antiques myself? (Never!)
