We want to congratulate the manufacturer of our Painted Edge furniture line, Georgia-based Tritter Feefer, for being recognized by the American Society of Interior Designers for its social responsibility, ecological sensitivity, and universal design awareness at the recent New York International Gift Fair. The industry group bestowed awards on only a handful of exhibitors at the show, which represented its “Top Picks” for 2011.
According to Tritter Feefer:
“Each piece of our furniture is crafted from sustainable resources… Our finishes are largely water-based products that do not require harsh or toxic chemicals for clean-up. We utilize as much recycled packaging materials as we can find available.
“The sustainability of our economy is also very important to us. The salaries paid to those who produce our product is spent here in the United States. Our fine employees contribute to our national economy by contributing to its expansion rather than participating in the trade deficit.”
