About Us

The Gables Antiques is recognized throughout the country as an exceptional source for European antique furniture from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Many wonderful, interesting accessories can also be found including French faience, Delft, pottery, boxes and inkwells. Lamps have been made from unique artifacts and architectural pieces. A fine selection of antique tapestries is kept in stock as well as mirrors, screens and paintings.

Suzanne Cox opened The Gables in 1978 and, along with her original staff, has been on a mission to keep the store filled with unusually beautiful pieces for which our clients are searching. With over 9000 square feet, Suzanne and her staff make it a priority on their numerous trips abroad to select each piece in person in order to get the highest quality for the best price.

For over 30 years, the Gables Antiques has enjoyed long term relationships with both the design community and private clientele. We pride ourselves in providing the most thorough, knowledgeable and friendly customer service you can experience. Our business is built on integrity.

We sincerely appreciate your interest in The Gables Antiques.
